Rosanna Tavarez (born February 10, 1977 in New York, NY) is a Dominican American entertainment reporter and presenter on television. Tavarez stars on TV Guide Channel alongside former American Idol contestants Kimberly Caldwell and Justin Guarini. She started off on Mun2, a Telemundo cable channel, hosting a show. She co-hosted On Air with Ryan Seacrest and was a member of the pop group Eden's Crush. She was in a Spanish language program titled Fuzion. Tavarez attended Miami's New World School of Arts, graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in dance, and studied for her Master's degree in dance at Ohio State University. Tavarez also performs Latin music under her childhood nickname of "Chana."
In 2001, Tavarez competed in the premiere season of the television show Popstars, on which she earned a spot in the pop group Eden's Crush. The group's 2001 single "Get Over Yourself (Goodbye)" peaked at #1 in sales and hit the top ten on Billboard Hot 100. Their record company, London-Sire Records, folded and the group eventually disbanded.
